Committed to Keeping Newport Beach Free and Safe

Public Safety

Our first responsibility as a city is, and always will be, public safety. That’s why we’ve invested in the latest technology to help our Police Officers and Firefighters, and why we added an additional Officer to make our school campuses even safer.

Reducing Homelessness

Because of the direction set by our City Council, and the work from our law enforcement and homelessness teams, homelessness is down 26% in Newport Beach over the past two years.

Local Control

Over the past few years, Sacramento has been encroaching more and more into our daily lives. Our City Council has consistently fought for local control, trying to maintain everything that makes Newport so special.

Promoting Freedom

Freedom is the foundation of what made me get involved and run to serve on our City Council, and will always be what motivates my decisions. I will always push for our government to stay out of the way of our people and our businesses.

Delivering Results for Newport Beach

Noah Blom is a Newport native, a chef, business owner, husband and father, and has been a Member of the Newport Beach City Council since 2020.A second-generation Newporter, Noah came back to Newport after attending culinary school and working across the country as a chef. Meeting his wife, Marin, together the two eventually started the first of many restaurant projects throughout Orange County. Today, Noah and Marin own ARC Restaurants in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa.

After seeing the overstepping of government control during the beginnings of the Pandemic Lockdowns, Noah decided to step forward and speak up for the freedoms Newport Beach residents deserve.

Charitible Works

Noah Blom and his family have a long history of giving back to their Newport Beach Community. John & Chloe Blom, a recognized portrait photographer, instilled the values that being part of the community means getting involved and working side by side for the common good of all. Today, Noah and his wife, Marin, carry on the tradition through their involvement in the numerous charities listed below.

Noah’s motivation to be re-elected for District 5 Councilman comes from his desire to give back to his community by working side by side with his neighbors and friends to support the traditions that all Newport Beach residents, merchants and business owners have come to value so much.
